Flight 2005 (FLIGHT 2005) contains Business Objects reports based on Transportation Safety Board (TSB) accident data categorized by Civil Aviation Regulation (CAR).
Flight 2005 represents a framework designed to respond to the key challenges facing aviation in Canada, including most notably, growth in traffic, environmental concerns and new technologies. This forward looking framework is based on: a data driven approach to developing strategies to enhance safety; a risk based approach to resource allocation for regulatory activities; and, continued consultation with the aviation community to promote a pervasive safety culture.
