Watch the finished video: MVP Part 1

Introduction

Over the winter the EGIS working group has provided feature priorities using the MoSCoW method . The EGIS team has gathered and summarized the responses, which resulted in the following priorities. See EGIS-priorities.pdf

Today I'll show how the EGIS MVP contains the top 7 of these features, and over the next months we'll demonstrate how all the top priority features will be available.

EGIS MVP

The EGIS MVP has been defined as: COTS ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6 deployed to the azure cloud in a staging environment. In addition, data available in the existing TC Smart Maps will be available as content on the EGIS platform. The platform will support only UNCLASSED data until the treasury board, SSC, and TC have certified the Azure Cloud for protected data.

Demonstrating how to use the EGIS platform should encourage this working group that even before we onboard each of you individually, the platform will provide at least 80% of the functionality needed by all of you collectively.

With the platform in place the EGIS team can work with each member to ensure they have 100% of what they need from this platform.
