System Overview
The NAPA Delegate Web Link (NDWL) is a web based application that supports Transport Canada Civil Aviation Delegates in the processing of MOD (Modification of Aircrafts) projects and certificates as a function of the aeronautical product approval process.
Used by delegates to apply for, track, and issue Limited Supplemental Type Certificates, Repair Design Certificates and Parts Design Approvals. It also enables delegates to submit applications for Supplemental Type Certificates Online. NDWL provides a system using email to notify Aircraft Certification personnel of actions on the system by delegates (initiation, changes to projects, etc.).
Utilisé par les délégués pour faire une demande, un suivi, et émettre des certificats de type supplémentaires restreints, des certificats de conception de réparation et des approbations de conception de pièces. Le système permet également aux délégués de soumettre en ligne des demandes de certificats de type supplémentaires. Le LWND fournit un système de courrier électronique pour aviser le personnel de la Certification des aéronefs des mesures prises sur le système par les délégués (nouveaux projets, modifications aux projets en cours, etc.).

Good To Know
The “main” branch in NDWL-LWND in TFS does not have any files or folders to be migrated.
Furthermore, the NDWL-LWND and NDWL-LWND-WAAU repositories don't have any release branches.
NDWL uses a very old component COMM+ which is used for uploading and printing of PDF. The COMM+ component is often causing issues and is also used by the Marine applications SIRS and CSPCS.
How-To and Fixes
For NDWL, we need:
Registered aspSmartUpload.dll
Regsvr32 "LocalInformationAboutThisDll"
Copy aspSmartUpload.dll and aspSmartUploadUtil.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64
