CCARCSE deployment Version Control Procedure

The System Administrator is required to update the (System Administrator Settings Window) the day of the release to control USERS access via previous versions of the CCARCSE Application.

Fields to be updated:

  • CCARCS Versions (Current) - Set to the new release version i.e. 2.3.0

  • CCARCS Versions (Previous) - Set to the currently used (To be replaced) version i.e. 2.2.9

  • Transition Period Active - Yes (This is to allow users with previous versions to access the application while getting a warning message)

Transition Period Active - No (After a grace period allowing users to get the new version, this will ONLY allow users with the current version to login)
