A funding (transfer payment) program is a group of related activities that are designed and managed to contribute to a specific public need through the provision of transfer payments to third parties that do not result in the acquisition by the Government of Canada of any goods, services or assets such as:

  • Aviation - e.g. Airport Capital Assistance Program (ACAP)

  • Marine Transportation

  • Rail Transportation

  • Supporting Multiple Modes of Transportation

  • Protecting the Environment
