TC Real Property
Description
The TC Directory of Federal Real Property (DFRP) is the central record of real property holdings of Transport Canada which is a subset of the Government of Canada DFRP. It is administered by the Programs Group Real Property Branch.
The purpose of the Directory is to maintain a contemporary record of basic information concerning the real property holdings of the Government of Canada. Information held in the Directory is used to keep the Government of Canada informed about the scale and major components of its real property inventory. It is also used to provide information to ministers, members of Parliament and the general public concerning a specific property or group of properties within a particular geographic area.

Remarks
EIS is an Oracle Non-spatial database.
Permission required to access the EIS Database for direct EGIS integration. Contact Programs Group, Real Property Manager for more information.
To extract the property listing, perform Property Search on the EIS Real Property Portal. Click the Search button. From the result page, click the document icon on the top right of the page to save the CSV file.

Process for EGIS integration
TAB (Polygon):
Property polygon dataset can be integrated into EGIS directly if granted permission, OR it can be provided upon request. Please contact Chris Auger (christopher.auger@tc.gc.ca), Senior Real Property Project Officer, Real Property Management, Programs Group for more information.
CSV File Transformation (Centroid):
In FME, transform the Lat/Long to point.
Output to KML, SHP or GDB as required
Import into EGIS
TC Smart Maps:
Not all GIS applications can consume KML file directly due to its unique data structures such as networklinks, folders, models etc.
Please contact Lawrence Chong, Digital Services Directorate for TC Smart Maps KML dataset and format translation.
