2018-10-23 - Scenario 2 - TCOMS
[In Progress]
GIS and/or Non-GIS Data Inputs?
Some of the TCOMS events data has the GIS information.
This system currently has 2 maps functions:
Map to show when you enter a location;
A simple COP to show the incident event list if it has GIS information;
Data Processing?
If EGIS can directly access the TCOMS Oracle database, then we can map the Incident events which have GIS information on our EGIS platform.
Or we need make a copy of these data in EGIS Geospatial database, then mask the protected information for security concerns etc.;

Description: As a TCOMS user137 Examine Interoperability Standards
Description: .. What I’m observing looking at TCOMS, notifications, reporting forms, ICS forms etc is two problems:... TCOMS still relies on a fair amount of free text data entry, which is harder to parse, query, analyze.135 View a user-defined Common Operating Picture
