How to Create Map for ArcGIS Collector

This are the steps to create a map to be used by the ArcGIS Collector app

Create Map for ArcGIS Collector using a Template

1. Access ArcGIS Online

2. Click on Content > Create > Feature Layer

3. Select Template

4. Click on Create > Next

5. Select the extent of the map and click Next

6. Set a Title and click on Done

7. On the new feature layer in settings check:

   1. Prevent this item from being accidentally deleted

   2. Keep track of who created and last updated features

8. Click on Open in Map Viewer

9. Save the new map

Create custom layer on ArcGIS Pro

Access Map using ArcGIS Collector

1. Download Collector app (Android, iOS, Windows tablets)

2. Login to https://tc-tdg.maps.arcgis.com using you named user

3. Select the map

4. Collect data by selecting the category, filling the for and adding attachments if necessary
