What is ArcGIS Monitor

Monitors availability and metrics of multiple environments, with detail on each component of that environment. It alerts when thresholds are crossed, and can notify (email) when alerts happen. Root cause analysis tool can help identify the source of a problem.

  • Developer subscription had this under ‘Product Components’

• Copied install media to:

  • \\tcautomation.file.core.windows.net\arcgisfileshare\ArcGIS10.7.1\Installation_Files

• Created 4 Core, 16G VM as per the stated minimum system requirements

• Followed ESRI install instructions:

• Attempted to license with ArcGIS Server Standard .prvc files…failing

  • Appeared to succeed but received “Feature arcsysmon not authorized”

• Talked to my ESRI rep, said 30 trial was “a long process”
