When you are going to create a model in NAPA you need to use System tables , Search the Product Model list for all models with that name (Do not specify Make).

(You might need to log in to Headquarters region, or a region you have System Administrator access).

If the Model already exists under a different Make and you are required to duplicate it, you should use the COPY button in system tables (With the original row in focus on the list window). This will link the models as the same model Sequence number. So if you are searching by that model later it will return data regardless of the make.

Example (Duplicate Model sequence numbers for the models under different makes)

If the Model is brand new then use the New Button (This will give the Model a different Sequence number so searching will not return other Models that are just written the same)

Example 3 Model Unique Sequence numbers for Model name 100 (Some have duplicates however)
