Onboarding

For any issues with the onboarding process, you can contact Mark Mallory or Paul Dalrymple

Initial visit to office

  • Schedule equipment pickup with Service Desk and ID pickup with Departmental Security

  • Employee picks up ID at Departmental Security and can enter office to go to Service Desk alone

  • Employee picks up equipment at Service Desk & requests to have the MyKey creation paperwork submitted to SSC.

    • [NCR] They will need to show 2 pieces of ID and do not need their PRI

    • [All Regions] Contact the following LRA agents: Blaise Mwenze or Boris Dakoure online via Teams only

    • The LRA agent will submit the paperwork to SSC (~24-48 hour turnaround time)

Must do on first day

Other items

To do during first few days/weeks:

  • Register to LEX - Used for all leave requests (PRI required)

    • LEX Leave Requests and Authorizations

    • Fill out Employment Equity Self-Identification Form

    • Fill out emergency contact information

    • Fill out Work Arrangement Agreement

  • Create a GC Campus account (PRI required)

  • MAACE Team Mandatory Training (migrated)

    • Please retain personal records of your training as they are completed. This includes safeguarding screenshots, keeping any certificates sent via e-mail, recording status of completion in your Public Service Performance Management Plan.

  • Register to PSPM - used for Performance Management across all departments
