System Overview

A Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) is a notice concerning the conditions or change in any
aeronautical facility, service, procedure or hazard that can affect flight safety.
Under the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARS), the pilot-in-command of an aircraft
must, before commencing a flight, be familiar with the available information that is
appropriate to the flight, including reviewing relevant NOTAMs.
