Overview:
The TCErrorEmailAddress" key value in several Civil Aviation applications contains the names of individual developers. To alleviate the issue of team members' mailboxes from being flooded with the error messages,
please use the shared mailboxes as noted below:
Example of previous:
<add key="TCErrorEmailAddress" value ="alain.asgill@tc.gc.ca; phuong.nguyen@tc.gc.ca; saman.khan@tc.gc.ca; siamak.shirzad@tc.gc.ca; christopher.collins@tc.gc.ca; haoyuan.wang@tc.gc.ca; hiren.amin@tc.gc.ca; sufyan.maghur@tc.gc.ca; noreen.dertinger@tc.gc.ca" />
Example of new:
Dev and Acceptance:
<add key="TCErrorEmailAddress" value=ADTMAccErrors@tc.gc.ca />
Production:
The web technical team has to update the web.configs on production as we don’t have access.
Request a copy of the web.config from the Web Technical Team. If the TCErrorMailAddress is not set to the address below please ask them to update it.
<add key="TCErrorEmailAddress" value="ADTMProdErrors@tc.gc.ca" />
Access to the shared mailbox
Currently, all members of the civil aviation maintenance team should have access to the shared mailbox
To add or remove access team members should submit an Orion request for the shared mailbox
Add the shared mailbox to Outlook:
Refer to Adding a shared mailbox to outlook to add the mailbox
