myTC Account (MTA) is Transport Canada’s online service delivery platform. It is a collection of departmental capabilities made up of user features and development capabilities. These department capabilities identify common components across online services and ensure that they are built once and shared rather than duplicated.
It is also a shared platform for all of TC to collaborate and contribute features.

How do I?

The myTC Account platform is a collection of patterns, capabilities and microservices that you can utilize to standardize, and accelerate development of your service applications. It includes features like:

Technical components:

UI components:

  • Progress wizard

  • Menu and layout (standardized “look and feel”)

  • My Services catalog

  • My Requests catalog

 

The most common use-case for leveraging MTA is for creating service applications. Not all service applications will be the same, but they are typically composed of:

  • A dashboard that allows the user to create new service requests, or manage previous service requests

  • A series of forms allowing the user to input data

  • A summary and/or completion page that confirms that the service request has been sent to TC
