The STG environment was create on 10.6.1 version, single architecture. The intent is to simulate the upgrade that will be executed later on Pilot.

The STG was updated to 10.7.1 following the Upgrade ArcGIS Enterprise process and the notes described in Upgrade DEV to 10.7.1.

Checklist

Ensure backup exists

Update the ARM template parameters to ensure the CSE will copy the new install media

Update ARM templates to increment the CSE timestamp to ensure the CSE will run

Execute the ARM template to copy install media and templates to the VMs

Create a DSC upgrade template from the original deployment template

Copy this template to the WEB vm and ensure that all passwords and paths are correct

Execute the upgrade

- Note that the "LicenseFilePath" changed on version 10.7.1 from .prvc to .json
The VMs Autoshutdown tags were set to “No”, however the Auto-shutdown configuration was still enabled. As the script was run in the end of the day that may caused the upgrade of the Data Store to fail
The scripts was re-run and the upgrade was completed

- Print services and Base maps were reconfigured manually
- The ConfigureCAHSSymbols Azure function was run to re-set the default symbols
