How to retrieve logs from application insights

Step 1 - Log into azure portal using this link: https://portal.azure.com/

Step 2 - On the search bar, search for Application Insights.

Step 3 - From the list, choose dcp-VesselRegistryInsights.

Step 4 - From the side menu shown on the left panel, click on Transaction Search. And click on See all data in the last 24 hours button to view data in the last 24 hours.

Step 5 - To filter the data:

For specific time range: click on Local Time and pick an option.

For Event types: click on Event types and make sure that Trace is the only option selected from the drop down menu.

For more specific filtering: Click on the funnel with the plus sign above it. This will allow you to narrow down your search. Please refer to the last screen capture for an example.
