Related Permissions/Services
“Create Service Preferences”, “Read Service Preferences”, or “Update Service Preferences” permission on of the services defined in Admin Console supported services on page 18.
Service settings The Service Settings card and Service settings Settings menu bar let admin user administrators manage Service service settings. Service settings These pages can only be only accessed if admin user has proper the administrator has any of the following permissions on at least one of the services defined in Admin Console supported services on page 18. “Read Service preferences”, “Create Service preferences” and “Update Service preferences” permission. Following table shows “Service Settings’ and associated permissions.MTOA supported service:

Note: A user An administrator with a the special permission "Create and invite users in any service" in "myTC Account Administration" service , need needs to be enrolled in a given service with permissions as described above to read and manage Service Settingsservice settings.
If a service setting is created or modified, it generally takes 5 minutes to see the change due to caching.
This page displays all service settings, if none exist then the table will be empty. An admin user Administrators can manage existing service settings and create new ones. This page can be only accessed if the admin user has Read service settings permissions
NB: When a regular user is assigned to a specific service with some permissions for service setting settings in that service, those permissions are applicable to all service setting settings created in for that service.

Add New Service settings

This option allows administrators to create new service settings and requires the Create Service Preference permission. Without this permission, the “Add New Setting“ button will not be displayed.
Allow admin to create a new email template. This action requires Create service preference permission. Otherwise, the button will not be displayed as shown below.

Edit button allows admin user to update an email template. The action requires Update service preferenceThis option allows administrators to update service settings and requires the Update Service Preference permission. If there is no update permission on a given service, the Edit button will not be displayed as shown below.

Add/Edit Service settings Page
Service
Displays This field displays a list of supported services based on admin console supported services and admin user’s permissions. On the current administrators permissions.
For example, on the Create Service settings Settings page, the services displayed are those where admin user has create Service preferences permission. On Edit Service settings page, the administrator has the Create Service Preference permission. Similarly, on the Edit Service Settings page, the services displayed are those where admin user the administrator has Update Service preferences Edit Service Preference permissions. To select more than one service from the list you must hold the CTRL key on the keyboard.
Key
Key name of the service setting. This field is required.
Value
Value associated to the key. This field is required.
Save
Saves the service setting, then returns to the service settings list.
Cancel
Returns to the service settings list.
