Topics for Discussion

The following is a list of suggested topics of discussion and decision points for the EGIS working group.

1. Official Languages Support

Demonstrate how EGIS supports official languages, including the site, content, and metadata.

• Should "certified" layers support both official languages, or should their be one "certified" layer for each official language?

• How should tags support official languages? (Or, in fact, how should tags be used in EGIS?)

• How should official language elements be styled (single line, multiple line, pipes, slashes, which language first, etc.)?

2. Content Organization

Demonstrate ways to organize content in EGIS.

• How to use tags, categories, groups, and folders to organize content?

• Helper task demo

3. Feedback from stakeholders

• Get feedbacks from those who have tried Sandbox Portal. We have create user accounts for them and would like to know their experience.

• Get User Stories from those who has not delivered yet or want to update.

• Get a completed EGIS Functionality Matrix to prioritize the requirements to MVP as per the M, C, S, W method (for those who have not done it yet).

• Get stakeholders' understanding/definition of “authoritative data" for data governance topic.

4. Regular update regarding a scope of each new product version/release

• Results of analysis of EGIS Functionality Matrix

• Which User Stories have been implemented and which are the next in our plan?
