VESSEL REGISTRY (CONFLUENCE)
The existing systems and current paper-based process are unable to meet its services standards and are at high risk of remission.
MSS business requires information and data from Vessel Registry to be used in other systems. However, the current registry systems are not directly accessible from other systems.
Other government departments like DND, CCG, DFO,RCMP, CBSA and CRA seek data from Vessel Registry.
Expected business outcome includes:
Ability to manage all existing service and new service fee and service standard requirements
Ability to handle large volume of vessel registration as a result of WAHVA
Increased interpretability and accessibility of data to internal and external systems
Decreased no. Of error and so the maintenance time
Information about core systems that maintain vessel information which include SRCS, SCVRS, Port State and Ballast Water
Information about the systems that use core or replicated version of vessel data which includes ACES, CPSCS-DET, CPSCS-VTP, CPSCSWQS, CPSCS-INNAV, EPAIRS,MEMS, MIUS,MPDIS, MSDQT, MSIS II, NTARS-MSDTS, PID
