Adding a new RSIG user to Production

When a new user of the RSIG application comes on board, here is what to do to get that user able to log into RSIG.

 Instructions

  1. Send an email to “Lavallée, Andrée”, copying “RSIG / PISF”

  2. Include in the email the new user’s Name, TC USERID, and email.

  3. Include the sentence: “Could you please add the following new RSIG user in RSIG Production and grant the production user permission?”

  4. Contact the RSIG Helpdesk (RSIG / PISF (TC/TC) TC.RSIG-PISF.TC@tc.gc.ca) and request that the new user be added using the admin tool to add the user in TC008, and in the RSIG app, add the user and assign attributes.

  5. Ensure the user has access to the RSIG application either through the Desktop or Citrix.

  6. If using the desktop version, Crystal Reports, Infragistics, and Edraw8 must also be installed:

    1. \\ncrdb102\Transfers\RSIG Installation\Crystal Reports (v13)\CRforVS_redist_install_64bit_13_0

    2. Edraw8 at \\ncrdb102\Transfers\RSIG Installation\Edraw8

    3. Infragistics at  \\ncrdb102\Transfers\RSIG Installation\Infragistics
