Feedback from MGNT (Nathalie & Rob)
Issue of no product owner (owns the product backlog) heard by MGNT.
Issue of no product manager (owns business case and product roadmap) heard by MGNT.
MNGT needs a vision board (i.e., big picture) from the EGIS team.
MNGT needs a product roadmap from the EGIS team that communicates what we are doing and when.
MNGT is there to help remove IMPEDIMENTS. The onus is on the EGIS team to self-organize, collaborate, and move the EGIS project forward.
The EGIS team needs to find a better way and do a better job at communicating what it is we are doing and engage with others in the spirit of collaboration.
Complaint from Microsoft at the DM-level that EGIS team is not engaging Microsoft and using their expertise to go faster.
Complaint from TC stakeholders that some EGIS team members are rude and arrogant during meetings.
Develop a TEAM CHARTER (see https://www.scrumalliance.org/learn-about-scrum/agile-atlas/agile-atlas-common-practices/roles/may-2013/team-charter for more information about a team charter).
Need to increase COLLABORATION with other Digital Services groups.
Proactively engage stakeholders -- e.g., invite them to sprint demos and if they don't attend, at least we tried.
EGIS team needs to develop an on-boarding process for TC WG stakeholders.
EGIS team needs to develop a readiness checklist for use with the on-boarding process to vet if a TC WG stakeholder is ready or can be serviced by the enterprise GIS.
