(Draft) Implementing MailKit in legacy applications

Overview:

TC Mailer 3.0 is deprecated and has to be removed from all applications.

• Mailkit is not supported in legacy applications having .NET framework 4.0.

  • The minimum .NET framework that will support Mailkit is (check the note in NuGet for MailKit)

• Packages with older .NET framework should be upgraded (if possible / discuss with Alain and the team if an application cannot be upgraded).

  • The associated packages should be reviewed and upgraded at the same time.
