Support to XML

Metadata

As described in the following link XML files are supported on ArcGIS portal to update metadata. If you upload a local metadata XML file, you have the option to overwrite the item details with the imported metadata from the XML file or use the existing item details.

Supported Files

The link bellow lists the supported file formats on ArcGIS portal. Raster function template (.rft.xml or .rft.json) is listed as Display not supported but the download is available, which means this formats can be stored on portal.
