Terminology bank for Civil Aviation.

The Civil Aviation Terminology System (CATS) is a collection of about 18,000 term records that were created by members of Aviation Terminology and Linguistic Services for use of aviation people world-wide. This application is used by the Aviation Terminology Standardization group of Transport Canada.

139279 CATS Report - All the term records - Open Government is asking for the whole dataset from CATS.

Query to return all the terms and definitions, formatted so it’s displayed/sorted properly when dataset is exported to Excel.

select title_eng, title_fr, replace(term_eng,Chr(13),Chr(13) || Chr(10)), replace(term_fr,Chr(13),Chr(13) || Chr(10)) from term_clobs order by UPPER(Replace(title_eng,'"','')) ;

Once data is in Excel:

Replace all occurrences of &nbsp; with “ “ (one space)
