System Overview
This project is a complete rebuild of the EDM system with complete automation as the focus. This version allows the user to execute a monthly process from a set of CAWIS webpages instead of asking the development team every two months. Most of the configuration is moved to the database and greatly expanded. The template used for emails and faxes are now freely changed by the user and arbitrary attachment can also be sent. As of now (2021-08-17), the project is done, but not tested.
A second version (called version B) was also worked on to more closely resemble the MDM way of doing things: threaded sending and processing, automatic service password change, using EWS instead of SMTP/TCMailer. It also removes the FTP step on owner’s request. As of now (2021-08-17), the project is in a incomplete state (about 20% done).
