Creating a CAMIS USER (Transferred to Wiki)

  1. Under ADMIN:

    • Click User Admin on the side menu.

  2. Click “Add New User from TC Directory”

    1. If no dialog pops up check that the TC Directory is present on the server concerned

  3. Search for the user in the TC Directory Search pop-up

  4. Click the “Select” button.

  5. Click “Close Window”. The Given Name, Surname, E-mail and EIG ID should be present in the profile as shown below.

    1. It is a known issue that the window is not automatically closed. There is no plan to fix this right now.

 

  1. Complete the Salutation, Region and Roles. Set the status to Active. The screenshot below shows the roles that are usually provided to members of the development team.

Note: when setting the role for anybody other than development the client has to provide written confirmation of which roles they require.

Users such as developers and some business user (CAMIS Business support users) must be added
2FA database before they are able to give eMER access to CAMEs. Written confirmation is required for before provided 2FA access to users outside of development.
