System Overview

ENQUIRIES was used by the Civil Aviation Communications Center for logging incoming phone, fax, email and mail correspondence. It used MS Access forms for data entry.

Other Notes from a team member who was around during DGO’s use of the Enquiries Application back in 2017.

  • Recalls taking phone calls in 2017 when she started, but that by December 2017 this had stopped

  • Only live phone calls went into the MS Access database (not voicemails)

  • Recalls being asked to delete entries in MS Access around the time the Comm. Centre stopped taking phone calls

  • Manager at the time: Melanie Nash

 

It was formally decommissioned August 2022.
