How to Create an Account in AMES (Any environment)

Connect to the AMES database that you would like the account to be created in

Navigate to the USERADMIN table

Open

Enter in data similar to the above screenshot.

1. USERID and NAME to match the user’s login information and name

2. PWORD is NOT ENCRYPTED and has a maximum of 6 characters. Set it to whatever the user’s requested 6-char password is

3. STARTDATE as today’s date

4. USERLEVEL_ID set to 1 if it is for an administrator/developer account

Commit your changes. The user should now be able to login to AMES
