Scenarios

  1. I use TC Smart Maps on a daily basis for regulatory inspections and oversight. I input my programs in the TC Smart maps so that I can see my locations and download them onto Garmin Base Camp. I send images of locations to my stakeholders when discussing these locations after my inspections.

  2. I use TC Smart Maps regularly for location or various items: culverts, bridges, Crossings, etc, this provides a good overview of the situation. For bridges and culverts, I like to add the hydrology layers, drainage basins when they are available, etc. I like to verify the surroundings along the track and the land use, etc.

Benefit / Outcome

  1. TC Smart Maps has made the way I work more efficient and thorough. I can now look at locations before I go into the field and prepare my routes and inspections accordingly.

  2. I use TC Smart maps daily in my day to day dealings. However I use them in the most basic form.
