Grade Crossing in Reserve
Description
Grade Crossing in Reserve are railway crossing within the boundary of an Indian Reserve. According to Transport Canada Grade Crossing Regulation, Rail Companies, Road Authorities and Band Councils are all responsible for managing rail crossing safety within the reserve.

Remarks
Crossing Extraction using Spatial Analysis:
In FME, use Clipper transformer with Grade Crossing (point) from the National Railway Network (NRWN) dataset as clipee and Indian Reserve boundary (polygon) as clipper.
Save ouput as SHP, GDB or KML file.
Process for EGIS integration
SHP File:
SHP file can be directly integrated into EGIS.
TC Smart Maps:
Not all GIS applications can consume KML file directly due to its unique data structures such as networklinks, folders, models etc.
