FTAE deployment Version Control Procedure

The System Administrator is required to update the (System Administrator Settings Window) the day of the release to control USERS access via previous versions of the FTAE Application.

Fields to be updated:

• FTAE Version (Current) - Set to the new release version i.e. 3.4.0

• FTAE Version (Previous) - Set to the currently used (To be replaced) version i.e. 3.3.5

• Transition Period Active

  • Yes (This is to allow users with Previous versions to access the application while getting a warning message)

  • No (This is to not allow users with previous versions to access the application while getting a warning message - THIS IS TO BE USED WHEN THERE IS A CRITICAL CHANGE THAT AFFECTS THE DATABASE AND/OR BUSINESS RULES)
