In this instance, we simply extract 10 years of CAWIS AAIR data using the query shown earlier in this article under “Recommendations” and email to the requestor.

Text files containing flight hours extractions, tend to be too large to email to requestors.

The way around this, is to give the client

1. a spreadsheet containing a sample of the data (100 rows approx), so that the requestor can get an idea of the layout of the data. ( This is usually enough to raise more questions )

2. a zip file containing DATA.txt

3. instructions for importing the data
