DESCRIPTION

SEARCH (RECENT)

Aircraft, engines, propellers AD docs from the past 7 days (flagged as New) or 30 days. Miscellaneous equipment docs from the past 1 month (flagged as New) or 6 months. See Fig 2&3 - recent ADs

ALL AD (MISCELLANEOUS)

Provides a list of all Equipment AD’s (product_type_cd = 'Q' on C10 table) . There are over 800 of these at present.

RECENT AD (MISCELLANEOUS)

Miscellaneous equipment issued within the past 1 month (flagged as New) or 6 months.

REGISTRATION MARK

The official Canadian aircraft tail mark, “C” prefix is NOT included in the search value, or saved to the database. Canadian Tail marks begin with “F”,”G” or “I” (for ultralight - there are NO ADs issued against ultralights)

REG MARK (ALL)

Show ALL AD’s against the Airframe, Engine and Propeller MFG/models for this aircraft

REG MARK (RECENT)

Show only recent AD’s against the Airframe, Engine and Propeller MFG/models for this aircraft - issued within the last 30 days

AD NUMBER

full or partial AD number lookup (over 19,000 in effect currently)

SELECT MANUFACTURER

Will show ALL Manufacturers (y60 table) for which exists a model NOT having a TATC code that falls under the TC Exceptions (NOT, NOT CERTIFICATED, NOT IDENTIFIED) (TATC info ) . NO TATC is ignored from the TC exception list here and those manufacturers are included in the dropdown (example - ZIVKO) The concept here is, the users only want to see regulated TYPE-APPROVED manufacturers in these dropdowns, since these are the only models against which ADs are applied

AIRCRAFT MODEL LIST

List of models which apply to the selected aircraft manufacturer. Pressing the CNTL key and selecting models will allow the user to select multiple models from the list

Show ALL ADs against the selected aircraft models

AIRCRAFT (RECENT)

Show ADs against the selected aircraft models issued within the last 30 days

ENGINE MODEL LIST

engine models - functions same as aircraft

ENGINE (ALL)

Show ALL ADs against the selected engine models

ENGINE (RECENT)

Show ADs against the selected engine models issued within the last 30 days

PROPELLER MODEL LIST

propeller models - functions same as aircraft

PROPELLER (ALL)

Show ALL ADs against the selected propeller models

PROPELLER (RECENT)

Show ADs against the selected propeller models issued within the last 30 days
