Overview

 

This document will discuss the numerous extraction requests received by Continuing Airworthiness (AARDG) for AAIR (Annual Airworthiness Information Report) data and the methods required to accommodate those requests.

Here we are only concerned with requests external to the Continuing Airworthiness section, NOT the weekly AAIRDATA report provided to Continuing Airworthiness.

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR TASK

1 TOAD or SQL Developer installed on the submitter’s machine ( with connect strings to CAWIS PROD )

2 access to the server location   \\ncrfs345\GROUPS\AARD\AARD Public\CAWIS-REPORTS (only if the output report is too large to be emailed to the client or saved to the PBI)

 

This document should be considered a work in progress as new requests arrive. Each flight hours request is different from the others.

Some examples

  1. all flight hours, for all aircraft for all reporting years

  2. summed flight hours for all years by manufacturer and model

  3. summed flight hours for all years by Operating rule (aka License Type, CARS subpart etc)

  4. summed flight hours, for a specific time slice, for specific operators
